About Me
In 2015 I obtained my Master of Science in Counseling Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Counseling, and Mental Health Counseling. Exploring the field of therapy, both individual, couples, children and families, I found great joy in helping individuals and couples regain a healthy relational and intimate connection.
For several years after graduating with my Masters degree, I worked as a General Manager at a Private Practice office where I gained experience in running a private practice while obtaining post-graduate hours towards licensure.
In 2017 I began my training as a Certified Sex Addiction Therapist (CSAT) with the International Institute for Trauma and Addiction Profession (IITAP). In the course of two years, I worked towards completing the requirements towards full certification with over 30+ hours of supervised cases. In 2020, I obtained my full certification as a CSAT. While working with my clients, I recognized the trauma both the addict and betrayal partner endured and recognized the importance of Trauma Focused training.
In 2019 I completed my training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) with Insight Counseling and Education Center and completed 10+ hours of supervision.
Finding my purpose as a therapist, I find great joy working with both the individual and couple through their journey towards healing, growth and reconnection.
