Integration of Christian Faith
We believe healing is both a clinical and spiritual process. While our work is grounded in evidence-based treatment models for sexual compulsive behaviors, we also recognize the transformative role that faith, grace, repentance, forgiveness, and restoration can play in long-term recovery.
For many individuals struggling with sexual addiction, there is often deep shame, secrecy, relational brokenness, and spiritual conflict. Our approach creates a safe, confidential space where clients can:
- Explore the intersection of faith and addiction
- Address spiritual struggles alongside behavioral patterns
- Rebuild integrity and character
- Restore trust within relationships
- Strengthen spiritual disciplines that support sobriety
- Develop accountability rooted in both psychological and biblical principles
When requested, sessions may include:
- Biblical reflection and application
- Discussion of identity in Christ
- Exploration of grace versus shame
- Values-based decision making grounded in Scripture
Our goal is not to impose faith, but to integrate it respectfully and clinically when it aligns with the client’s beliefs. We meet each individual where they are, whether they are deeply rooted in their faith, wrestling with doubt, or seeking spiritual clarity as part of recovery.
At Steadfast Counseling Center, we believe true freedom is possible — freedom from compulsive behaviors, freedom from shame, and freedom to walk in integrity.
Healing is possible. Restoration is possible. You do not have to walk this journey alone.
